3rd gen 1972 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 Frame Off Restoration For Sale.

1972 Chevrolet LT1 Corvette Numbers Matching Engine – Transmission
Car was purchased by me in April of 2016. VIN, engine, and transmission all match. Rear end original with all the new spring upgrades. Original tank sheet is 90% intact. This is the info I got when purchased. Frame off restoration completed 2016. Fresh suspension-bushings-shocks-coils-brake lines, gas tank etc. . Complete engine parts upgraded to use for a daily driver. Fresh frame paint during restoration, no-damage to factory frame or accidents. Original paint was 989 War Bonnet orange changed to 979 Targa Blue. Even in 2025 it still wins awards at car shows. A few little flaws. Heavy clear coat finish . Last of VIN 525836- block deck 12S525836 V0628CKY- trans matches. I have ran a Report with Clean title, no reported damage.. Very high-quality restoration and never been in uncontrolled environment or driven on any wet surface. Clear coat paint, show quality. Original Black leather interior still intact and near perfect.. Power steering, manual brakes, new front calipers and pads., Factory AM-FM radio, T-Tops, telescoping steering wheel, removable back glass. 350 factory block with upgrades to engine and ignition, etc. The original smog, exhaust, intake, distributor and carb were removed and replaced with modern upgrades in restoration. I don’t have old original parts. Tires are good, older with no flat spots or weather issues. I would hesitate driving a lot of highway miles on tires.. Radio does not work but is factory. World Products S/R heads 67CC 2.02 heads installed for modern gas, comp cam 1.52 roller rockers- Edelbrock Performance Intake- Factory M21 Factory Trans. Upgraded rear suspension leaf springs etc. Factory 4.11 axle ratio. Aluminum Griffin high volume radiator, electric fans manually ran, MSD 6AL Ignition and tach electronic distributor, headers with tuned exhaust. Holley 750 double pump carb 3310-6 1409. Recently Flushed all fluids.. No Major leaks or issues. Odometer shows 60,000+ less than 300 miles since ownership. gas tank is perfect- fuel system perfect. Drove it every month and ran it for at least 20 minutes every time and kept on battery tender. I have a list of new parts I have installed since owning. Horn non-working, seat buzzers and lights work. All exterior lights work. Installed new headlight diaphragms vacuum relays-Pods and some vacuum lines Just installed new plug. A few little blemishes on paint but could be easily fixed. Engine is strong 70 lbs oil cold and 30 when hot. From looking at the interior and original head deck never milled I believe the Mileage is close to what shows on the Odometer. All glass and seals are great. Have new parts for wiper and Headlights Vacuum. Worked the past 10 years but just started having wiper cover come up and stay up and 1 headlight not coming up.
