1972 Chevrolet LT1 Corvette Frame Off Restoration Original # Matching Engine & Transmission Car was purchased by us in April of 2016. It was frame off restored with numerous upgrades to original build sheet. Vin-Engine & Transmission all match. Original build sheet is 90% intact. This is the info I got when purchased. Frame off restoration completed 2000 Fresh suspension-Bushings-Shocks-Coils-Brakes Lines etc. Fresh frame paint no-damage. Original paint was 989 War Bonnet orange changed to 979 Targa Blue. Even in 2025 it still wins awards at every car show. A few little flaws but could be easily touched up. Last of Vin 525836- Block Deck 12S525836 V0628CKY- Trans Matches. GM Block casting back is 3970010 Very High Quality rest and never been in uncontrolled environment of wet surface. Upgrades-Targa Blue with deep Clear coat paint- Black Leather Interior. Power Steering-Power brakes-New Front Calipers-Factory AM-Fm Radion-T-Tops-Telescoping Steering Wheel- 350 Factory Block with upgrades to engine and ignition etc. Removable Rear Window. Tires are good and show no wear or issues. Radio does not work but is factory. World Products S/R Heads 67CC 2.02 Valves Comp Cams 1.52 Roller Rockers- Holley 650 Dual Feed-Edelbrock Perf Intake- Factory M21 Trans. Pick show upgraded rear Suspension- 4.11 Factory Rea Axle Ratio Upgrades are Aluminum Griffin High Volume Radiator-Electric Fans-MSD 6AL Ignition and Distributor- Headers with tuned Exhaust. Holley Carb 3310-6 1409 Since I have owned the Vette I have done numerous maintenance items. Speedo Quit and I installed a New Cable. If you manually turn cable the inside gauge will work. Need to see if gear is bad in tranny. I have a list of new parts I have installed since owning. Clock Non Working- Installed new Headlight Diaphragm- 1 opens and you have to help the other- I think I have low Vacuum as the Wiper Door just recently started staying up and wont close unless you shut the engine off and push it down. It runs and sound amazing- I have only averaged 100 miles a year- Start and drive it every month. Tank is perfect- gas and carb are perfect- Just installed new Plugs and everything as It should be. I will always place in the 70-s class at every car show. A few little blemishes on paint but could be easily fixed. Engine is strong and could use a New Fresh going thru.
